One way or another.
Everyone ends up showing their real colors. Their true feelings, real motives, thoughts, and personalities that they try to masquerade every minute of their life. Some people are good at it too, being able to hold up this fake identity for as long as they want to, never letting anyone ever see who they really are. And a few might even be successful in doing this; never letting anyone know who they really are, and only showing people what they want them to believe. But under certain circumstances that a person might go through, they’ll flash a true glimpse of who they really are, even if it’s for a split of a second.
The quietest person, might have that moment where he or she gets mad, and shouts out his or her lungs.
The funny guy who seems to joke around at anything and everything, might have that moment of seriousness that shocks you cuhs you never thought he was incapable of not smiling, let alone be serious.
The happiest girl, who is basically contagiously happy, and infects everyone with her personality, making it hard not to smile when she’s around, seeing her down, and crying her eyes out, and literally seeing the weight of the world on her shoulders, crushing her even more with every sob.
The guy who seems like he’s got it easy, living his life as carefree as he can, but is worrying about almost everything and has to work with problems like just figuring out if he can survive until the next day, cuhs he has no food or anyone willing to support him.
Or that girl, who seems so small and quiet, nice and friendly, seems to not have any trace of evilness or hatred in her body, then surprises you with all of this gossip, rumors, shit talk, betrayal, and dirt about your friends, people you know, and sometimes even yourself.
You can never really know if a person is really who they say they are, because knowing the difference between an act or a genuine action is harder to solve than you think. You can’t really trust a person either, and it’s a pessimistic way of thinking, but that’s the truth of the world. Some people are genuine in everything they do, whether if it’s being nice or being mean. Some people try to be the best people they can, and either succeed or backslide. But others just hide everything genuine about them under a fake shell, hoping to convince the world that they are who they want us to believe they are, whether it’s them trying to be mean and tough, but actually is a nice, vulnerable person inside, or whether they try to be nice and holistic, when in reality they can be some of the biggest bitches you can ever meet.
That’s the way people are. Were all fake, in one way or another. And you can choose to believe that people are who they say they are, or you can choose not to believe it and try to see the good in every person, but one thing will always happen. Every nice person, will end hurting you one way or another at some point in your life. Every mean person will do one good thing for you, whether it’s small or big, it’s bound to happen. A person you don’t even know at all or expect to help will eventually help you at the time you need it the most. And the person you think that you always can trust and depend on will one day backstab you, forget you, or leave you behind for something they want.
that’s just the way life goes.
